Frequently Asked Questions

Estimates & Process

Q: How does your estimation process work?
A: We offer two ways to get a quote. You can request a free online estimate by submitting photos and rough measurements of your project. For more complex jobs, we offer in-person consultations for a fee if the property is located further than 10miles. This fee is credited toward your project total if you choose to move forward.

Q: How long does a typical project take to schedule?
A: Our lead time depends on the season and the size of the project. We provide a clear timeline for your specific job during the estimate phase, and we keep you updated on scheduling as we approach your start date. Projects will not be scheduled until the deposit it recieved.

Q: Do I need to be home while you are working?
A: For most projects, no. Exterior work or interior projects with easy access, you do not need to be present. We will coordinate key exchange or access instructions during our initial consultation to ensure everything stays secure

Scope & Boundaries

Q: What defines "minor" electrical or plumbing work?
A: We handle simple, non-main-line tasks like replacing light fixtures, switches, faucets, or installing new toilets. We do not perform work that requires tapping into main service lines or major system re-wiring. For those tasks, we recommend a licensed electrician or plumber to ensure safety and code compliance. We do handle sub contracting these services to make the entire project go smoothly.

Q: What should I do if a project runs into unexpected issues?
A: Transparency is our priority. We always inform clients before opening up a project that there is a chance of significant damages. If we encounter unforeseen structural or system issues, we stop work, document the problem with photos, and discuss the best path forward with you before taking any further action.

Q: Do you provide your own tools, materials, and labor?
A: Yes, we are fully equipped for the services we advertise. We can manage material sourcing and delivery for you as part of our logistics services, or we can work with materials you’ve already purchased. Our crew will handle all labor so you don't need to touch a thing.

Logistics & Clean-Up

Q: Do I need to know technical terms or have a full project plan?
A: No, we will work with you on every decision needed to bring your project to life!

Q: What happens to the construction debris after the project is finished?
A: Every project includes a post-work cleanup. We haul away all construction debris and leave the workspace broom-clean, so you aren't left managing waste or messes after we leave.

Q: What areas do you currently serve?
A: We are currently serving Northeast Ohio inluding Akron, Cuyahoga Falls, Cleveland, and surrounding areas. Clients outside these areas can still request service for an additional driving fee.
